Leeroy Thornhill (UK)

Leeroy was one of the founding members and spent 10 years as part of The Prodigy on their worldwide tours, In 2011 Leeroy left the band to concentrate on his DJ career and his own solo productions.
Flightcrank – his band released their first album in March 2001 and his own productions have been mixed by the likes of Maxim, Adamski, Lee Scratch Perry, Mad Professor and Genaside 2.

After joining forces with renowned DJ Hyper to form the band Hyper, the release of the critically acclaimed Hyper album “We Control” was followed by the album “Suicide Monday”, both featuring Leeroy on vocal duty.

Leeroy has teamed up with German DJ / Producer Marten Hörger (a winner of two Breakspoll 2014 awards) to form a new production outfit Smash HiFi. October 2016 saw the release of the first Smash Hi Fi album ”Order More Disorder”, a heavy multi-genre collaboration that features vocals from Kym Mazelle, Lexie Lee, Ka, MC Sirreal and The Legionnaires. Music from this album featured on a KIA car ad. The Band took to the stage in 2017, playing Festivals across Europe, with the highlight being Glastonbury. The bands second album is well underway, with a 2019 release targeted.
Leeroy has been remixing for various artists and DJs such as The Ting Tings, Darren Emerson, Maxim (The Prodigy), David Gray, Dr. Doom (Kool Keith) and Dub Pistols.

Leeroy is continuing to produce music with releases on Get Hype Recordings in the UK, the label owned by The Prototypes.
His first release, “Wait For Me” reached number 3 in the Beatport charts, with some big remixes from The Prototypes, Adamski and Smooth and with future release on Get Hype in the pipeline, there is no slowing down. His influence of different music styles also reflects in his DJ sets, bringing fresh new sounds mixed with some old school and classic edits.

Michi (Șuie Paparude) – DJ set

Șuie Paparude was born two decades ago, in a 5-man formula, which included a bass player (Mihai Dobre – Dobrică) and a keyboard player (Mihai Câmpineanu – Michi), having a distinct sound and style, inspired from the New Order era.

Starting with 1994 the band stayed in its duo formula – Michi / Dobrică and begun its real ascension. A 20 years long road, that was going to bear fruit to 9 studio albums, endless awards, collaborations with heavy names from the Romanian music scene and loads of live performances in clubs, festivals, stadiums, be it in Romania or abroad.

Freqax

Freqax is the indelible moniker that houses the searing frequencies of Romanian producer Adrian Andrei, a sonic creator enriched with a wide array of inspirations that have emerged in transcendently heavy forms through his many productions. The Freqax entity emerged through its first label platform in 2009, with the release of The Man with no Faith on Sinuous Recordings, during the first phase of the project, during which Freqax consisted of 2 members (the 2nd member, Adrenalina, left the project in 2012). Since that first release, the frequency and quality of the projects has evolved mercilessly, with singles and EPs on some of the decades most revered and hard-hitting drum & bass labels including PRSPCT, Othercide, Algorythm, Yellow Stripe and Forbidden Society Recordings, as well as numerous consistent and rising imprints.

The roots of his musical interests grew from authentic rave foundations through a love of The Prodigy’s music in ’94, exposure to which stimulated an interest in the production process and a fascination with the feelings that electronic music elicited.

Within the last 12 months alone, Freqax has released more than 33 tracks, with collaborations from fellow leading producers in drum & bass, including Counterstrike, Katharsys and Sinister Sounds, as well as remixing Agressor Bunx, Anatomix and Brainpan. The „Meant to Believe” LP saw support on Noisia Radio, and club play from a staller array or artists including The Upbeats, Dieselboy, Misanthrop, Evol Intent, Jade and Mind Vortex.
